I have owned several printers in my time, but it wasn't until I got serious about my photography that I considered a HP Photosmart D7560 printer. My clunky old Epson "died" on me after 7 years of semi faithful service. It was just a basic inkjet, and it was good timing that I could now shop for a photo printer.

My brother in law loves to burn his own cds, and he was the one that put me on the "trail" of the HP Photosmart D7560 printer. He mostly uses it for printing on his cds and dvds, I would mostly use the HP D7560 to print and edit my pictures.

Before I finally decided to buy the HP D7560, I decided to shop around a bit. I asked my brother in law if he knew of any other good photo printers. He mentioned the Canon Pixma ip3600 model. He also knew that I had been toying with the idea of buying a laser printer, so he suggested that I look at the HP Laserjet P1006.

I went online and started to read reviews on both printers, and most were very positive. Just like the HP Photosmart D7560 printer, they each scored at least an average of 4 out of 5 stars. Despite good reviews, I ruled out the laser printer because I knew I would be printing ALOT of photos.

In the end, it was my loyalty to HP products, and reading one VERY positiveHP D7560 review, that finally won out. The ip3600 was the same price as the HP Photosmart D7560 printer, so I flipped a coin, and chose the D7560.

It has turned out to be a GOOD decision!

The HP Photosmart D7560 Is My New Best Friend!

My new printer arrived as promised in 3 days from Amazon.com. I was very impressed with how attractive and compact it is. I had picked the perfect spot on my work station to put the HP Photosmart D7560 printer

I beagn playing around with the 3.5 inch touchscreen display. I can Use the large 3.5-inch touchscreen to view, edit and print photos without a PC, plus navigate menus effortlessly.

And, the color prints have amazing, vivid colors. This occurs because theHP Photosmart D7560 printer has ultra-high resolution capabilities up to 9600 x 2400 dpi in full-color!

It features separate paper trays, which allows you to print photos without changing paper using the additional 20-sheet photo tray. The plain paper tray has a 150 sheet capacity.

A couple of other cool things about the HP D7560, are that it seems pretty frugal on ink, and features 5 separate color ink cartridges. The ink dries very quickly, too!
